Abigail Shows Off and Gets a Medal - ISR Weeks 6

Week 6 with ISR was definitely the best.  We really got to test Abigail's skills and see just what she was able to do.
On Tuesday of week 6 Abigail got in the water with a t-shirt, socks, a regular diaper with a swim diaper on top (she usually just wore two swim diapers).  She did great with the extra clothes on so on Wednesday she got in fully clothed….shirt, pants, socks, shoes, a regular diaper (which get very heavy!) and a swim diaper.  At first she had a hard time rolling over but after a few tries she could do it easily.  She did cry a bit this day.  They do this because drownings usually occur with kids fully clothed.  It is much harder to roll over and float this way.
On Thursday Andy was able to get in the water with Abigail and Leslie to learn the techniques to keep her skills up.  She enjoyed him being in the water too.
It still amazes me just how much she loves to be in the water and especially float.
Here are a couple of videos of her coming into the water off the side of the pool.

Here are a couple of videos that show just how happy she is while floating.
