7 Months Old

Abigail will be 7 months old tomorrow.  She will have a BIG day because we are headed to Miami in the morning.  We are so excited but a little stressed about traveling with a little one.  We fly out in the morning and come home Tuesday.  My mom helped me with her photo shoot today in her very appropriate AL outfit.  

We got Abigail a new bath seat.  Andy is usually the bath person but he has been working nights this week so Abigail was stuck with me.  She definitely has more fun with Andy but she enjoyed sitting in her chair and I got some great pictures.

We had some visitors this week.  Grandma and Pop Pop came to stay for a couple of days.  Abigail had a great time playing with them.

My New Camera

I am loving my new camera.  It is very easy to use and takes great pictures.  I think I am driving everyone (esp Andy) crazy with it but I don't care.  I put the camera on continuous shoot so that it will take a picture about every 2 seconds that way I can make sure I catch her smile and funny faces.  Here are some that I took Saturday night.

Christmas Continues & Papa's Birthday

On Saturday we got together with my sister and Monica to swap gifts then went back to Meme's to celebrate Papa's Birthday and Christmas with my Aunt that just got into town.  Papa turned 85 this year!  We had lunch and opened presents again.  It was great getting to see everyone!

Reagan and Monica gave Abigail a LeapFrog puppy that sings songs and talks.  We were able to customize it with Abigail's name, favorite foods and colors.  It is so adorable!  It sings songs with Abigails name in it and tells her "I love you Abigail".  I really love it.

That afternoon we spent some time in the playroom while Andy put together one of her new toys Grammy and Paw Paw gave her.

Christmas Day

Its a tradition for us to go to my dads parents (Best Mama & Daddy Vic's) on Christmas morning to eat breakfast and open presents.  This year we had ham, eggs, grits, biscuits and gravy and sausage balls.  It was so good.  After breakfast we let the little ones open presents.....everyone was not able to join us this year but there were still 4 of Abigail's cousins there.  Abigail got a bear that sings lullabys from her great grandparents.  Then the adults play dirty Santa.  Abigail was so good.  She was really sleepy after opening presents but she was very sweet.

So sleepy!  She rarely ever lays her head down on you so this was a very special moment.  

After Abigail got a nap my parents come over to open presents with us.  My sister and Monica usually come too but Monica has not been feeling well.  Andy and Abigail gave me a bag and a zoom lens for my camera as well as a massage gift certificate.  Andy wanted to go to the National Championship so that was his present as well as a case for his kindle.  He also got clothes and shoes from his mom and sister.

Christmas Eve

Christmas this year for us was so much fun.  Abigail is old enough to help open presents and play with new toys.  She most enjoyed bows!  Ha, we could have skipped all other gifts and just given her bows.   Every year Andy and I spend Christmas Eve just lounging around then we go to dinner at my Meme and Papa's house.  I was going to go in to work for a few hours but Andy needed to teach at CrossFit so I got to stay home with my sweet girl.  In the afternoon Andy let me open a gift form him...a new camera!!  I love it.  Its a Cannon Rebel T3i and it takes great pictures.  I was able to take it with me to my grandparents house that night.  We had a great dinner and then watched the little ones open presents.  Abigail got some great gifts.....a book from Meme, a car from my Aunt Diana and Uncle Steve and a cell phone from my cousins Sima, Lacey and Chase.   I great some great pictures with my new camera.
